What a simplified dissolution usually costs

Turning Page preparation fee$199
Court costs: filing fee, paid directly to your county clerkabout $408 in most counties
Notary fees for the forms that must be signed before a notary or deputy clerk (your finished forms show which ones)varies
Typical total before notaryabout $607

Filing fees are set by Florida law and can differ by county. Once we know your county, we tell you its exact fee before you pay anything. Always confirm the current amount with your clerk. Turning Page never collects court costs or notary fees.

Can't afford the court filing fee? The Court's instructions explain that you may ask the clerk for a determination of civil indigent status. The clerk decides whether fees can be waived.

When you pay

After both of you have signed the required nonlawyer disclosure, and before you answer the questions. Nothing is charged before that.

How you can pay

Credit or debit card, or another method offered at the secure checkout.

How long it takes

Your completed forms are usually ready within 7 business days after both of you finish the questions. They are delivered by a secure link. The court sets its own timeline after you file.

Refunds, in plain words

  • Before work begins: cancel for any reason and get a full refund.
  • If the work has to stop because either of you can't confirm a statement the forms require, or because you list a related court case that is outside what Turning Page handles: full refund.
  • If you decide to reconcile before your forms are completed: full refund. Turning Page would be glad to hear it.
  • After your completed forms are delivered: the work is done, so it isn't refundable. Turning Page's own typing mistakes are always fixed free.
  • How fast: Turning Page starts your refund within 5 business days after confirming it. Your bank or card issuer usually posts it within 5 to 10 business days after that.

Full terms are in the service agreement you'll receive before you pay.

Not included in any price

  • Legal advice, or help deciding what to agree to
  • Filing the forms for you (you file them yourself, with clear instructions)
  • Going to court with you or representing you
  • Court costs and notary fees (paid directly to the clerk and the notary)
  • Documents that are not Florida Supreme Court approved family law forms (your filing instructions say where to get any your clerk asks for)
